Southwest Audio Visual was started by Jim Diez and Bill Kauzlarich in response to Southern California customers requesting personalized service. While serving as lead technicians for one of California's leading home theater retailers, they realized that there was a need for a company who could cater to the custom theater market by paying close attention to detail and providing courteous customer service. These principles not only founded the company, but guide Southwest Audio Visual to strive to be the leading custom integrators in the region by treating every job as a unique opportunity for customer satisfaction.

Bill Kauzlarich is a CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design Installation Association) certified installation technician from Chicago, Illinois. He has been in the custom integration business since 2001 after graduating from Purdue University with a Business Management degree.

Jim Diez is a graduate of University of Southern California's Music Department and has established himself in record production and recording studio design. These experiences have fostered audio attentiveness while working as a custom integrator since 2006.
